Earl Herndon passed away on May 10, 2008 at Wake Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born May 9, 1958, the son of Virginia Herndon and the late Roosevelt Herndon Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Corrine Herndon of Raleigh; one daughter, Cynthia
Sessoms (Lamonte) of Middlesex; one son, Petty Officer 2nd class Ryan Earl Herndon of Japan; one step daughter, Sherricka Weston of Raleigh; his precious mother, Mrs. Virginia Herndon of Middlesex; two sisters, Bertie Lewis (Jackie) of Clayton and Mary Frances Edmundson (Steve) of Middlesex (One sister, Linda Faye Clark (Willis) preceded him in death); six brothers, Liouegie Herndon (Julia) of Ayden, Leon Herndon (Gladys) of Wilson, Jonathan Herndon (Linda) of Raleigh, Carl Herndon (Katherine) of Middlesex, Lamonte and Demonte Herndon both of Raleigh; maternal grandmother, Irene Wright of Raleigh; four grandchildren; several aunts and uncles; five sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; special friends, Charlie Finch and Anita Evans; other relatives and friends.
