BESSIE JOYNER BONE

Bessie Joyner Bone, age 105, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019. Born in Nash County on November 29, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Jefferson and Lula Mosley Joyner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.P. Bone; two sisters, Lessie Mae and Ballard; and four brothers, Jeff, Cooley, Cicero, Roger and son-in-law, Mike Bunn.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Hill (Melvin) and Betsy Bunn; four grandchildren , eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, April 1, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home with the Pastor Terry Williams officiating. Entombment followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
