ROCKY MOUNT - Mary Frances Sims, age 65, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019. Born in Gaston County on July 2, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Floyd T. Sims and Lee Mayberry Sims.

She is survived by her son, Philip Heavner and wife, Amy; two brothers, Douglas Sims, Thomas Sims and two nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 1 - 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home with funeral service following at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the funeral home. Burial is private.
