Suzanne DeBruhl Rainey passed away on January 2, 2020. She was born in Old Fort on August 26, 1937 to the late Nat and Kate DeBruhl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Nat DeBruhl, Jr., a sister Sara Drake and a son-in-law Staley Collins.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lee Rainey; her sons Lee Rainey Jr. (Sandy), Nat Rainey; her daughters Bonnie Jones (Danny), Lee Ann Price (David), Kay Collins; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; her brother George DeBruhl; her sister Rose DeBruhl; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday, January 6, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville with Daniel Moss officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
