Mary Lucretia Morgan Parker, 76, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020. She was born August 22, 1943 in Edgecombe County to the late James and Alma Jones Morgan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roger Allen Parker, Sr.

She is survived by her sons Roger Allen Parker, Jr and Stephen Craig Parker (Tammy); daughters Gwendolyn Kaye Parker Metcalf; sisters-in-law, Bettie Parker, Doris Faye Gose, Betty Jean Pearson (Benny), Lillie Jane Parker and Carolyn Batts Morgan; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 2 p.m. Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Daniel West Officiating.
