William "Bill" "Bebe" Whitley, 86, died Thursday, March 12, 2020. Bill was born on January 19, 1934 in Nash County, the son of the late Jim Robert Whitley and Sidney Emma Joyner Whitley. He was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evie Harper Whitley; sons, Alvin "Preacher" Whitley (Darlene) of Nashville; William "Runt" "Bill" Whitley, Jr. (Judy); Robert Whitley (Julia); daughter, Charlene W. Wynne (Edward) all Rocky Mount; two grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister, four Annie W. Roberson; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 1 - 3 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home & Cremations, Nashville.

Services will be private.
