Woody Maurice Jones, 69, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020. He was born August 2, 1950 in Nash County to the late Woodrow and Beulah Denton Jones. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Rodney Dwain Jones.

He is survived by his wife Jean Jones; son Chris Jones and wife Tasha; brothers Bobby Jones (Pam) and Marvin Jones; sister Kathy Sherrod (Edward); three grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 5:30-6:45 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Braziel officiating. Graveside service will be Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ray Vick officiating at Williams Family Cemetery, Sharpsburg, NC.
