ROCKY MOUNT - Steve Wells, age 54, passed away September 16, 2023. Steve was born in Nash County on December 16, 1968 to Tim and Linda Wells. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ben and Beulah Brantley; paternal grandparents, Willie and Eura Wells; and father-in-law, Jack Huneycutt.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Priscilla Huneycutt Wells; parents, Tim and Linda Wells; children, Jason Wells, Brandon Wells (Candis) and Sarah Wells (Tom Sweeney); brothers, Mike Wells (Donna) and Brad Wells (Melissa); mother-in-law, Joyce Huneycutt; two nephews; one niece; one great-niece; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and family friends; two soon to be grandchildren.

A service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Parkwood Baptist Church, 1731 Hunter Hill Road, Rocky Mount.. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home.
