Jessie Glenn Matthews, 68, passed away September 15, 2023. He was born in Nash County on July 26, 1955 to the late Jessie James and Barbara Ann Cooper Matthews.

Jessie is survived by his son, Jonathan Matthews (Ashley); daughter, Shawn Andrews (Thomas); brother, Ronnie Matthews (Gale); sister, Ann Wilmoth (Mike); 6 grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
