ROCKY MOUNT - Robert Michael Cooper "Mike", age 58, passed away September 22, 2023. Born in Nash County on July 3, 1965, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Cooper and Hazel Taylor Cooper. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Susan Huffman.
Mike is survived by his wife of 29 years, Eugenia Gray-Cooper; his sons, Robert Michael Cooper, II, (Kenya Mills), and Zack Morin (Leslie Morin-Frutos); daughters, Angelina Cooper (Tommy Vu), Hazel Marie Cooper (Alejandro Perez); 4 grandchildren; his brothers, David Cooper (Donna Cooper) and Jimmy Cooper (Carol Cooper); his brother-in-law, Hakeem Blackmon.
