E.J. Barnes Jr., 68, passed away January 18, 2024. He was born November 29, 1956 to the late E.J. Barnes Sr. and Minnie Moss Barnes. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Marvin Barnes.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Tina Barnes; sons Danny Womack (Christina) and Austin Womack (Trish); daughters Amy Strickland (David) and Kristy Barnes (Russell); 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers Donald Barnes (Mary) and Charles Barnes (Margaret); sister-in-law Cindy Barnes.

A visitation will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7p.m. in the chapel.
