Sharon K. (Wilson) Townsend, 78, passed away May 21, 2024. Since her most recent residence was in Whitakers, a service will be at a later date, when her ashes will be returned to Muskogee, to be buried near her sons and husband.

Sharon is preceded in death by her husband James Edward Townsend, and sons Billy Wayne Townsend, James Michael Townsend and granddaughter Danielle Renee Greuel.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Patty Greuel and husband Daniel Greuel of Whitakers; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
