ROCKY MOUNT - Jo Dan McGee Bailey, age 100, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024. Born in Laurel County, KY on July 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Daniel C. McGee and Maggie Epling McGee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Milton Cecil "Mickey" Bailey; her grandson, Brian Riggan; her sister, Blanche McGee Hope; and her brother, Burton E. McGee.
She is survived by her her daughter, Bonnie Blue Bailey; her two sons, Mickey Bailey and wife, Jackie, and Dan McGee Bailey and wife, Diane; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A private family graveside service to celebrate Jo's life will be held at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. |
