NASHVILLE - James Manfred Weaver, age 69, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024. Born in Wayne County on December 1, 1954, he was the son of the late Clarence Weaver, Sr. and Dorothy Johnston Weaver. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Weaver, Jr.

James is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy King Weaver; his son, Jason Alan Weaver; his daughter, Jamie Weaver Mincey and husband, John; two grandchildren; his brother, Ronnie Weaver and wife, Sheila; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held May 31, 2024 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Toby Easley officiating. Burial followed the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
