CASTALIA - Jimmy Roosevelt Taylor, age 76, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024. Born in Nash County on March 13, 1948, he was the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Taylor and Lola Mae Bunn Taylor. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Shearin.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Scott Taylor (Jessica), of Castalia; his daughter, Beth Madigan (David), of Greenville; four grandchildren; his sisters, Carolyn Barefoot, and Gail Shearin; his brother, Allen Bunn (Jean); and a host of many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
