Harvey Ray Cockrell, 63, passed away, Sunday, May 31, 2009. He was born in Wilson County, Friday, April 19th, 1946. He was the son of the late Harvey and Daisy Cockrell. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the Tabernacle of Praise Church in Nashville.
He is survived by his brother, Earl Cockrell and wife Debra of Rocky Mount; sister, Anna Edwards and husband Billy of Spring Hope; three nieces; one nephew and some special neighborhood children.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Chapel of Nashville and the memorial service will follow at 8:00 p.m.
