NORA LOUISE STRICKLAND MOSS
Nora Louise Strickland Moss, 94, passed away November 15, 2010.  She was born September 28, 1916 in Wilson County, daughter of the late Willie Strickland and Nora King Strickland. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie Gray Moss; sister, Margaret Smith; brothers, Sidney and Willie Strickland; and two grandchildren, Debbie Kelly and Craig Moss.  She was also predeceased by three stepchildren, Juanita Moss, George Moss and James Moss.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean Davis of Rocky Mount; sons, Buddy Moss and wife, Jenny of Nashville, Darrell Moss and wife Ilse of Eureka Springs, AR and Skip Moss and wife Barbara of Sharpsburg.  She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Coggin officiating.  Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 2616 S. Church Street, Rocky Mount NC 27803.

Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount.
