Arnold Lee Yates, 85, of Rocky Mount, passed away October 13, 2017. He was born November 24, 1931 in Cabarrus County. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Alvin and Cora Weaver Yates, and his sister, Frances Yates Rogerson.
He is survived by his wife Emma; sons, Tony Yates (Brenda) and Aaron Yates (Beverly) both of Rocky Mount; five grandsons; and a brother, Archie Yates (Betty) of China Grove.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
