NASHVILLE - Danny Ray Turner, age 62, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020. Danny was born in Edgecombe County on February 14, 1958. He was preceded in death by his father, James Harvey Turner.

He is survived by his wife Melissa Palmateer Turner of Nashville; his sons, John Turner and Stephen Turner; daughters, Dana Wayne and her husband Shawn, Hannah Turner and Sarah Turner; nine grandchildren; his mother, Helen Louise Daughtridge Manning of Middlesex; sisters, Donna Chappel and Lisa Williams and her husband, Tyrone; nieces and nephews,

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Rocky Mount with Father Tim Meares officiating. Burial will follow the Mass at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the family receiving friends and relatives before the Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
