Bette Sue Hutchens Thompson, 92, passed away January 5, 2024. She was born in Yadkin County, NC on August 29, 1931 to the late Harrison and Versie Hutchens. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Dewey Benjamin Thompson; son Jeffrey Dewey Thompson; siblings Ruth Hawkins, Gladys Weatherman, Lillian Hutchens, Gilbert Hutchens, Joyce Dinkins, Wallace Hutchens and Buck Hutchens.

She is survived by her daughters Connie Thompson Boston; Karen Moore and husband John; three grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Crestview Cemetery.
