Ann Matthews, 81, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025. She was born in Nash County on June 21, 1943 to the late Wayne and Ruth Edwards Coppedge. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 51 years, Samuel David Matthews.

Ann is survived by her daughters, Deborah Puckett and husband Anthony, Barbara Morgan and husband Jeff; two grandchildren; brother, Joseph Coppedge.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Mount Zion OFWB, 1779 Mt. Zion Church Road, Nashville NC 27856.
