Jeanette Shaw passed away April 19, 2025. She was born January 14, 1934 in Elizabeth City to the late Agnes Mae and Lewis Noble Tucker; step-father- Alphonso White. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Joseph Paul Shaw Jr., maternal grandmother Nancy Ann Hurdle, and grandfather John Wesley Hurdle; paternal grandmother Hattie Tucker and grandfather George Tucker.

She is survived by her son Jon Kevin Shaw and wife Teresa; daughter Laurie Shaw Olson and husband Douglas; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law- Rita and David Gregory; one sister-in-law Mary Jo Harrison and husband Tom Harrison; three nieces; five nephews.
