Merry Christmas from The Soap Box
It is here.
If you are reading your paper on December 23, you are hopefully regaling in the joy of Christmas Adam, which immediately precedes Christmas Eve.
This is an important day at our household. It is the last day before the holiday blitzkrieg officially kicks off and for us at least, it is a pretty neat day. The kids — as well as their parents — have the excitement and anticipation of Christmas in full bloom. ‘Letdown’ is still days later, the deluge of presents has yet to start, as has the constant shuttling about. We try to use it as a day to really consider Christmas, why it exists and to also be thankful for what we have. More ...

For me, annexation and where I live is all about personal choice. I want to make those choices for myself. To me it is inconceivable that someone else should be making those choices for me. More ...
