Pedestrian hit by vehicle

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Nashville Wednesday evening at the intersection of Washington and Alston Streets, near CVS Pharmacy.
The victim is in stable condition at Vidant Medical and is expected to recover. He reportedly was walking home after completing lawn care service in the area and walked into traffic when crossing the intersection.
