Nash County Sheriff's Office investigates homicide on Old Carriage Road

The Nash County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide in the 3100 block of Old Carriage Road.
Deputies responded to a medical call at a home around 2:09 a.m. involving a man who was found unresponsive by a family member.Upon arrival it was determined the man was deceased from a gunshot wound.

Deeply involved in dance and gymnastics as a youngster, Pitchford was destined to excel for the dance and cheerleading squads at NCHS.

That's a reputation that has been groomed consistently over the past quarter-century of Denton's glorious, well-rounded career in the athletic world.
Though Denton's story doesn't begin there, the emergence of his well-deserved infrastructure scouting report started inside a dilapidated locker room at the Southeast Guilford High School Gymnasium in the early 2000s.

Funny how it all started pretty much as a gag, with Justin Burnett following the life-imitating-art route -- like so many other adoloscents in the early 2000s.
Always blessed with an artistic streak, Burnett sought unique hobby interests as a student at Southern Nash High School -- and found one in the form of the family Camcorder.
At the time, the reality show 'Jackass' was popular on MTV and featured a cast of characters performing pranks on each other in public.
