Over the past few decades, Reality TV has taken prime time television by storm. Some of shows - American Idol, America's Got Talent, or Dancing With The Stars - require talent and skill. However there are several other reality shows - Survivor, The Amazing Race, and American Ninja Warrior - which require more physical qualities.
These particular programs communicate what it takes win in life. It appears in most of them that the way to win is to lie, cheat, and steal your way to victory

Intersections: God and Life

Exodus 20:3 records the First Word of the Ten Commandments: "You shall have no other gods before me." The Lord demands his people to worship him and alone. Exodus 20:4 says, "You shall not make for yourselves a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." The Lord who demands his people worship to him exclusively also demands his people to worship him correctly. This is the message of the Second Commandment: We must worship God in a manner that is acceptable to him.

DOGE uncovering some crazy stuff, but then what?

If ever there was an oxymoron in the making, it has to be the Department of Government Efficiency.
DOGE, led by billionaire Elon Musk, is tasked with finding waste in the Federal government. That seems like the equivalent of forming a committee to see if Little Debbie Zebra Rolls taste good.
The national media has been steadily reporting the waste exposed by DOGE:

Many times, the little things add up to make us successful

This weekend, while attempting to play catchup, I decided to listen to the recent Downtown Strong meeting where advisory board members shared their disappointment regarding the town council. Coverage of this meeting was in the January 30th edition of The Graphic. As always, Nancy West-Brake did an incredible job of covering the meeting. Since downtown has always had a huge spot in my heart for most of my life, I also wanted to watch the meeting.
It was evident the advisory board was indeed frustrated with the town council overriding their recommendations.
