ROCKY MOUNT - Louis E. Pendleton, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Born in Franklin County on June 27, 1940, he was the son of the late John G. Hardy and Maebell Wrenn Hardy. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wilbur Pendleton.
Louis is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy Baker Pendleton; his daughters, Teresa Davis, and husband CT, of Rocky Mount, Lisa Wells, and husband Todd, of Red Oak, and Kristi Peele of Spring Hope; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brother, Wayne Hardy, and wife Diane, his sister-in-law, Mary Helen Pendleton; multiple nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held February 10, 2025 at Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Brad Powers, and Rev. Billy Keith officiating.
