Albert Bizzell Parker, age 77, of Rocky Mount died Thursday, February 10, 2011.
Born January 13, 1934 in Nash County, he was a son of the late Leslie Allen and Cara Jackson Parker.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Parker Oakley and her husband, Tim, of Battleboro; his son, Bruce Anthony Parker and his wife, Dianne, of Columbia, SC; his sister, Eleanor Parker Chapman and her husband, Blackie, of Smyrna, GA; and two grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Aileen Griffin Parker; sister Katherine Parker; brother, Jack Parker; and sister-in-law, Bridget Parker.
The family received friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2011 in the Chapel of Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Jody Wright officiated. Burial was at Pineview Cemetery.
