JUANITA SPIVEY RIVENBARK
ROCKY MOUNT – Juanita Spivey Rivenbark, 87, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011. She was born May 27th, 1924 in Nash County, daughter of the late John Wesley Spivey and Mary King Spivey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Herbert Rivenbark, Sr; one brother, Raymond Spivey; three sisters, Lenner Pittman, Lillian Howard, and Mildred Taylor; four step-sons, N. L. Rivenbark, M.P. Rivenbark, Jimmy Rivenbark, Bennie Rivenbark, Jr.; and one step-grandson, Chuckie Rivenbark.

She is survived by  daughters, Judy Adams of Rocky Mount, Sue Carpenter of Elm City, and Donna Daughtridge and husband Scott of Rocky Mount; son, Randall Rivenbark and wife Diane of Rocky Mount; step-son, Cleon Rivenbark of Chesapeake, Virginia; two sisters, Barbara Hardy of Goldsboro and Margaret Dorman of Tamarac, Florida; and special sister-in-law, Peggy Spivey Bunn of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Thursday, November 17, 2011 Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home. Rev. Frankie Carroll and Pastor Jacky Raper officiated. Burial was Friday, November 18, 2011 at Pineview Cemetery, Section 50.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice of Rocky Mount, P. O. Box 8109, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.

Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
