Margaret Boone Smith, 80, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013. She was born December 21, 1932 in Nash County to the late William Oscar Jr. and Sally Grace Boone.
She is survived by her husband Sylvester Smith “Prim”, one daughter, Claudia Smith Hadley and husband Jeff, one sister, Martha Sutton and husband Gene, one brother, Lindsey Boone and wife Janice, and one grandchild.
A funeral service was held Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
