DOROTHY C. ROSE
Dorothy Coggins Rose, 85, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Rex Healthcare. Born in Nash County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Vick Coggins.

Funeral services were Sunday, July  21, 2013 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Garner. A graveside service  was Monday  . at Forest Hills Cemetery, Nashville.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Rev. Jack Cooper Rose; her daughter, Susan Rose Walston, sister, JoAnn Daniels and brother, Harold Coggins.   

Surviving are her daughters, Cindy Rose Meacham and husband, Eldon of Fuquay-Varina and Beth Rose Hunnicutt and husband, Jim of Garner; sister, Kathleen Barnes of Rocky Mount; son-in-law, Jim Walston of Pinetop and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Community of Hope Ministries c/o First Baptist Church of Garner, 601 St. Mary’s St., Garner, NC 27529.
