TOMMY GEORGE JOYNER

Tommy George Joyner, Sr., age 68, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. He was born in Nash County on September 4, 1946, son of the late George Herman Joyner and Carolyn Fisher Joyner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Herman “Steve” Steven Joyner.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Brewer Joyner; his daughter, Cindy Joyner Farrar and husband, Scott of Wilmington; son, Tommy George Joyner, Jr, and his wife, Jenny of Houston, Texas; sisters Gwen Dew and husband, Robert of Rocky Mount; Kathy Bennett and husband, Jimmy of Whitakers, and brother, Randy Joyner and his wife Betty of Rocky Mount.
A funeral service was held Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Wheeler and Woodlief Chapel. Burial followed the service at Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville.
