Joyce Marie Eatmon Carroll, 73, of Bailey passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014. She was born July 29, 1941.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “J.W.” Carroll; her parents, Prince Eatmon and Julia Wells Eatmon Woodard; her step-father, Ollie Woodard; her sister, Janice E. Manning and her brother, Bud Eatmon.
A funeral service was held Sunday, October  5, 2014 at Joyner’s Funeral Home in Wilson.  A graveside service was held  Monday, October 6, 2014 in Bailey Town Cemetery.  The Rev. Ronald Gurganus officiated.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Melinda C. Edwards and husband, Jeff of Elm City; her son, Randy Carroll and wife, Penny of Wilson; three grandchildren;  sister, Geraldine E. Craft of Wilson and her brother, Ronnie Dale Woodard of Sims.
