MOYOCK - Alvin Novarro Boddie, 80, died on Friday, November 7, 2014.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Galatia A.M.E. Church in Nashville with the Rev. Nathaniel Bunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Hills Cemetery.
Survivors include a spouse, Margaret Boddie, of the home; four daughters, Laurie Boddie-McGhee, of Chesapeake, VA, Valerie Boddie, of Wilson, and Teryl Boddie and April Boddie-Jones and husband, Travis, both of Wendell; two sons, Michael Boddie and his wife, Melinda, of Moyock and Ronald Boddie and his wife, Priscilla, of Chesapeake, VA; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
