Laddie Moore Crisp, Sr.

Laddie Moore Crisp, Sr., age 84, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015. Born in Edgecombe County on May 10, 1931, he was the youngest son of the late James Ashley Crisp and Lucy Forbes Crisp of Old Sparta. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Charlie Crisp.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elise Elizabeth Crisp, his son Dr. Laddie M. Crisp, Jr. and his wife, Jamie, of Kinston and his daughter Teresa Crisp Parker and her husband, Tommy, of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Crisp Dennie of Conetoe and Sue Crisp Hush of Sykesville, MD.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Church of the Good Shepherd, 231 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
