Lucille Parker Vester, 93, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015. She was born June 20, 1922, in Nash County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Rosa Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade H. Vester, her parents, four sisters, two brothers and two sons-in-law, Marshall Langley and Alton Flora.

She is survived by three daughters all of Rocky Mount, Peggy Langley, Dolly Tyson and husband, Julian, Betty Lou Langley and husband, Melvin; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Shenandoah Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Griffin and Rev. Glenn Hill officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
