Bessie Beatrice Johnson Edgerton, 79, of Rocky Mount, passed away on January 28, 2016.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with the funeral service following the visitation, beginning at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at New Morning Star Church of Christ, located at 225 S. Glendale Avenue in Rocky Mount. The interment will take place in Gardens of Gethsemane in Rocky Mount.
