Margie "Buck" Avent Porter, 60, of Rocky Mount, passed away on June 2, 2016.

Visitation will be held from 12 -1 p.m., on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place immediately after the visitation at 1:30 p.m. at Gardens of Gethsemane in Rocky Mount.
