MARJORIE TRUEBLOOD
ROCKY MOUNT – Marjorie “Margy” Whitfield Trueblood, 85, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008. A memorial service was held Feb. 15 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Rocky Mount.

She was the daughter of the late Rose and Henry Whitfield of Mt. Olive, the widow of Benjamin “Tip” Wimberley Trueblood, and the daughter-in-law of the late John E. and Mary Bryan Wimberley Trueblood. She was born Sept. 15, 1922 in Petersburg, Va., and moved to North Carolina when she was 16.

Survivors include her brother, Beverly Whitfield and wife Inez of Mt. Olive; son, Joe Privette and wife Cathy of Idabel, Okla.; daughters, Robbie Kazenmaier and husband Claus of New Orleans, La., and Karlsrhue, Germany, and Betty B. Trueblood of Tampa, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 301 Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC. Condolences can be made at www.
