Gertrude Strickland Saunders, 96, of Middlesex passed away Friday, July 27, 2018. Services were held Sunday, July 29th, at Stony Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Middlesex. Interment followed in Spring Hope Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Buddy Wagnon officiated.

She is survived by her son, Donald Saunders and wife, Bernice W. of Middlesex; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; brother, John Strickland of Middlesex.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Earl Saunders and her brother, Willis Strickland.
