ESTHER MAE EASON

ROCKY MOUNT - Esther Mae Eason, age 67, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020. Born in Edgecombe County on May 21, 1953, she was the daughter of the late John Stephen Eason, Sr. and Prudy Magnolia Peace Eason. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, John Stephen Eason, Jr. and William Taft Eason; nieces, Tresa Farmer, Cindy Hayes, and Diane Trinidad; and special brothers and sisters-in-love.

She is survived by her siblings, Ellen Eason Blount, Mary Alice Buck and husband, Don, Ann Eason Hayes, Julia Farmer-Lindsey and husband, Monroe, Earnest Eason and special friend, Sharon, Brenda Eason Brewer and husband, Peaches, Leona Eason Pridgen; and sister-in-love, Theresa J. Eason.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Parkwood Baptist Church, Rocky Mount with the Pastor John Scott and Pastor Mark Pridgen officiating. A visitation will be from 1 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the Sanctuary of Parkwood Baptist Church.

A Private Family Burial will take place at Pineview Cemetery.

The family asks that during this difficult time for the safety and well-being of everyone, please wear your mask, use social distancing and hand sanitizer. You may join the family in the church sanctuary or there will also be live streaming on Facebook (www.parkwoodonline.org) or FM Radio 87.9 in the church parking lot.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkwood Baptist Church, 1731 Hunter Hill Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
