HAYWOOD PALMER MCGEE

Haywood Palmer McGee, 88, passed away August 9, 2020. He was born in Halifax County on August 24, 1931 to the late Willie and Ellen Harvey McGee. He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters; two daughters, and a granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Nettie McGee; two sons Casey McGee (Mary) and John McGee; daughter Dawn McGee; brothers Jesse, Frank, Lee and Joe McGee; sisters Ava, Minnie, Rosie, Brookey, Judy, and Shelia; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, August 14, 2020 from 11:00-11:45 a.m. with funeral service to be held at 12 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hollister.
