GLORIA JOYNER WOODHAM

HOUSTON, TEXAS - Gloria Joyner Woodham, 81, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. She was born in Nash County on February 1, 1939, to the late Odis Herman Joyner and Beulah Taylor Joyner.

She was preceded in death by her parents and also her husband of 34 years, Sim E. Woodham.

She is survived by three children, Michelle Dash and husband Rob of San Diego, California, John Woodham and wife Heather of Spring, Texas, and Sim Woodham and wife Brandy of Rockwell, Texas; her brother, Lauris K. Joyner and wife Rebecca of Nashville; two sisters, Cindy Joyner Brantley and husband Danny of Nashville, Serena Bartholomew and husband Ronnie of Chapel Hill; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be planned some time in the future.
