Peggy Joyce Whitley, 82, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020. She was born in Nash County October 31, 1938 to the late William and Sylvia Patterson.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gray Whitley; son, David Earl Whitley; brothers Oscar Bissette, Sam Patterson; sisters Mae Cobb, Elsie Mills, and Dorothy Wachowicz.

She is survived by son, Bobby Wayne Whitley (Dana); daughter, Wanda Pendleton (Steve); four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made by St. Jude Children's Hospital.
