NASHVILLE - Helen Rose Jones, 90, passed away January 13, 2021. She was born on February 2, 1930 to Lucy Williams Rose. She was born into a large family, with 13 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years Elbert Ray Jones; daughter Patricia Jones Ezzell (husband Doug), two granddaughters; four great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Cliff Rose, Aileen Davis, A.J. Rose, Eugene Rose, Ronald Rose, Ann Varnell, and Joyce Ellis. In addition to her mother, Lucy Rose, Helen was preceded in death by her brothers, W.T. Rose, Junior Rose, and Alvin Rose and sisters, Alma Clarida, Doris Griffin, and Christine Pierce.
A service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021, 2 p.m. at Englewood Baptist Church. Due to the Covid19 pandemic, there will be no time of visitation and no graveside service.
