David Wayne Cockrell, 67, passed away February 2, 2021. He was born January 21, 1954. He is preceded in death by his father Elbert Henry Cockrell, Sr; brothers, Woody Cockrell, Elbert Cockrell Jr. and Randy Cockrell.

He is survived by his wife Carla Wilson Cockrell; mother Marie Cockrell; daughters Amy Cockrell Woodard (Kevin), Kelsey Joyner, step daughters Rhonda New and Jaymi Thomlinson; sister Joanne Keen; brothers Bobby Cockrell (Jean) and Mike Cockrell (Sue); 8 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
