JOHN BERNARD TAYLOR

ROCKY MOUNT - John Bernard Taylor, age 73, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021. Born in Wilson County on December 15, 1947, he was the son of the late John Gold Taylor and Jessie Thornell Taylor.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Flood Taylor of Rocky Mount; his sons, David Taylor (Terrie), Keith Taylor, and Troy Smith (Shawn), also all of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren.

A service will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation. Burial will follow the service at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 PM to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in John's memory to Oak View Baptist Church, 2412 Arlington Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27801.
