HELEN MASSENGALE TEMPLE

WHITAKERS - Helen Massengale Temple, age 68, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021. Born in Nash County on November 2, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Julian Henry Massengale, Sr. and Eris Pearl Dossier Massengale. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James "JT" Ray Temple; son James Julian "JJ" Temple; and brother Julian Henry Massengale, Jr.

Helen is survived by her children, Travis Scott Temple (Stacey) of Whitakers and Casey Alan Temple (Crystal) of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren; her brother Edwin Ray Massengale (Beth); one niece and nephew.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will follow the graveside services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Helen's memory to the non-profit JDRF, PO Box 37920, Boone IA 50037, or by visiting www.jdrf.org, in helping the research of Type 1 Diabetes.
