ROCKY MOUNT - Irma Leigh Ethridge King, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Born in Halifax County on February 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Sherwood Ethridge and Pattie Gee Ethridge. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gary D. Ethridge Sr.
Irma is survived by her two sons, Ralph Hubert King, Jr. and Sherwood Alan King (Bridgette) all of Rocky Mount; her daughter, Kathryn "Kathy" Leigh King Hardin (Marty) of Schenectady, NY; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her brother, William S. Ethridge (Dot); her sister, Barbara Ethridge Jackson (Lee); athree nephews.
A Special Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 3-5 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. |
