Donna Jean Duke Matthews, 71, passed away November 16, 2021. She was born in Hertford County, NC July 11, 1950 to the late James Floyd Duke and Genevieve White Duke.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry Matthews; daughters Laura Hansen, Stacy Hansen (Sandy), Nina Thomas (Thomas); 10 grandchildre; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Duke (Katherine) and sister, Sylvia Carraway (David).

A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
